Let me tell u a lil about myself.  I started going natural in high school (10th grade 2000).  This was when people didnt approve of the nappy hair.  I didnt care for a while, until I went to NSU my sophmore year of college.  It was a new scene and I wanted to make a good impression, so I called myself getting a Just 4 Me perm.  It was ok, until I realized that when my mom did my perm she did not perm my whole head and I went to get a doobie and the ends of my hair puffed after I left the salon.  I then decided that I will only be myself and I like nappy hair.  IT FITS ME!!!!!

I have now been officially natural since 2003 (6 years).  My hair is at its healthiest.
