I bought the book on Amazon about a year ago, after I got 7 inches of permed hair cut off. It was tough at first, but I was left with 3 wonderful inches of virgin hair that I wanted to lock at a salon in Philly. I got 2 strand twists and after I got your book, I decided not to go back for locks. My hair was (is) so thick that my mom started perming it since before I can even remember. I've always had straightened hair as far as I'm concerned, and it's been hell, to be brief about it. It's so thick that hairstylists would ask if I had a weave in when I went to get a style.
