I'm a first generation Haitian-American. I've lived in the Washington DC Metropolitan area all my life and I work for the Federal Government in the IT field. I'm a pretty energetic, spontaneous, humorous, and happy person.
I have always loved locks, but never thought they were for me. I realized in 2005 that there were so many different ways that you could approach locking and I could make it my own instead of thinking it would look like someone else's hair. So, I started seriously considering the idea. Then I came across so many photos of locked hair that I thought were absolutely gorgeous (I was admittedly lock crazy at that point.. lol). For the first time, I realized that it was definitely for me and became committed to the idea in late 2005.
I began my journey through TSTs on December 29th, 2005 and have been in love ever since. I have ups and downs, but who doesn't with their hair (I mean really)?? I am learning patience more and more each day!!
