Why did you become a model and what is your goal as a model?
I started modeling being it's something that you need confidence in your abilities for and can give you confidence, and one of my goals is to share what I learned with other models.

How important is your hair as a model? Why do you choose to wear your hair the way you do?
My hair is pretty important. I like to keep my hair short because I've had it cornrowed and have grown it out into an afro. Although, I did like having my hair braided, I felt like those styles didn't fit me that well.

What does your hair mean to you? Is it just an accessory that compliments your personality and style or is it deeper than that?
I really like my hair and always take care of it. I feel like it compliments my style.

How important is a woman's hair to you? Does a weave, relaxed hair or a natural head bother you or do you have a preference for either of these styles?
Women have to be comfortable with their hair styles, and I think it says a lot about you. Making the best of a bad hair day can only help your style progress. I'm not a huge fan of weave, but it does look good with the right look and attitude. But too much of it and you can lose your true beauty.

What do you think of our pageant “America’s Next Natural Model” to promote natural African hair?  Do you think black hair is an issue? Why or why not?
I love the idea of promoting the natural beauty of African hair. I don't think that black hair is an issue. The only way it becomes on is if it's not taken care of properly.

"You have to get out of your own way to be successful."
